The state's four largest metro areas are seeing a welcome combination: more homes on the market, less competition from other buyers, and prices that are easing back from their highs. Take Jacksonville, for example: home prices there have dropped 7.1% from their peak, with a 13.8% increase in listings and a striking 40.6% drop in buyer competition. Homes are also sitting longer before selling. For Tampa buyers and investors, this season is shaping up to offer more options and room to negotiate. As someone who both invests in and sells real estate, I find these market changes present real opportunities for clients to make confident, informed decisions. If you’re watching the market for your next move, late fall could be your edge.

Continue to full article

As we move into late fall, buyers across Florida—especially here in Tampa Bay—are starting to notice a shift in their favor.
